You probably have a well-developed brand by now and even a bunch of loyal customers. But, in every entrepreneur’s life comes the time when he/she needs to upgrade his brand in order to get the business moving in a positive direction and get as much profit as possible together with new customers.

1. Use internet

This is something I am probably not even supposed to tell you as common sense of the 21st century implies that no business or a business relationship can function without the use of the internet. Still, if you are a bit of a traditional person avoiding internet and social networks, this is probably the best time to stop doing it. Using internet for branding purposes is probably the cheapest way to get almost free marketing and PR so keep your options open. If you haven’t so far put up pages advertising your brand, this is the moment to do it. Rely on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and maybe Google + to promote your product. Put up pages and market your product instantly. Also, it’s very important to be creative with the way you present your brand to the public, as well as the way you communicate with your customers. Remember, constant interaction is the key!

2. Purchase WOM marketing

If you are not familiar with the acronym WOM it stands for word of mouth marketing. It’s true that technologies have much upgraded and lots has changed in the past 20 years but one thing has remained the same in the world of marketing, and that’s human response to someone’s product and brand. This is why word of mouth marketing is important – it helps spread the word about your amazing product and in such a way helps you get new customers.

There are two types of WOM:

1) Real WOM – The people that are actually satisfied with your brand will spontaneously praise your product to their friends and talk extensively about the high quality service you offer. This is why you need to look into offering your clientele the best service possible so they can be happy and willing to mention you to their friends.

2) Purchased WOM – Today, there are agencies that do this kind of marketing. They operate through social networks and the help of agents they’ve hired to be “fake” customers who happen to be delighted with your brand and service and are willing to spread the word about your brand to their friends and colleagues. All this is done in an arranged and subtle way and through social networks. So, hopefully you’ve put pages with your brand up, so your future customers can find you easily!

3. Promotional products

No matter how advanced our lives are we’re still humans who enjoy little joys of life, one of them being getting presents. I am aware this may sound utterly shallow but it is to the core true. Everyone loves getting presents no matter how small or big they are, as long as they are a testament that someone was thinking of us in a particular moment.

Since you are a firm that thinks of its customers and look to keep them happy, start with handing out promotional products as fast as possible. It doesn’t really matter much what sort of promotional product you are offering, nor does it have to be something way too expensive. Keep your feet on the ground and go for something cheaper yet practical and meaningful like coffee mugs, pens, USB sticks, key chains, stress balls, etc. Also, look for your brand to be engraved or imprinted in those promotional products as that way your customers will always have a reminder of your brand and will be happy to come back. These custom branded giveaways may cost you a bit (not much necessarily) but they are an amazing way to stay popular with your clientele!
