Hello! Thanks for sharing our infographic! 😉
You’re welcome Desmond. 🙂
It isn’t surprising that majority of satisfied customers who are satified with products and services they purchased don’t actually refer the products.
It is important to understand the gap between willingness to do something and the actual execution of the actions. Something has to be done to bridge this gap. One of the methods internet marketers might employ to encourage customers to refer the service is offering “loyalty and rewards”. And that is where affiliate marketing comes in.
It’s hard to get referral from one time customers without asking and rewarding. That is why online business owners have to develop loyal customers for their business. Loyal customers do lots of products and service recommendation without even asking.
But meanwhile, how much problems do you really solve your customers, how efficient is the after sales service? These are factors that shouldn’t be overlooked.
Exactly, Ace. I really believe if the product is really solving the customer’s problem, they will automatically refer the product. People will ask: “hey, why have you been smiling so much?” The answer will automatically be a referral. I also believe that most products out today are products that people do not need. You have to spend a lot of time and money on advertising that will work as the referral if the product is not really needed.
You’re right. A lot of people overlook referral marketing and the power behind it. I remember being taught this when I was doing network marketing. They emphasized so much about referral marketing in each training.
I believe the biggest problem with network marketing is that they really don’t focus on personal branding. Yes they talk about building relationships, but that’s just one aspect of personal branding. But once you get yourself really out there, the result would be getting referrals.
I really didn’t pay attention to personal branding until I started doing online marketing. More so last year and everything started to come together to make sense. When you make your connections and have more of a reciprocal relationship with each person, you’re relationships grow stronger and your start to get more referrals. Especially in the blogging community where everyone promotes each other!
Thanks for sharing this interesting infograph! I hope you’re having a great week!
